Your ordinary conversations run on your phone. We do not operate a chat server, collect diary entries, or receive local response flags.
What the app is
The Whispering Diary is an original fictional character-conversation app for adults. Elias is generated by a small local AI model. Responses may be inaccurate. The app is entertainment and does not provide professional or emergency advice.
Information stored on your phone
The app stores conversations, drafts, user-approved memories, preferences, and local response flags in app-private storage. These records are excluded from Android automatic cloud backup. We do not receive them. Optional diary lock uses your device's biometric or screen-lock system; the app does not receive your fingerprint or device PIN.
One-time model download
The app downloads an approximately 805 MB Qwen model file directly from Hugging Face over HTTPS and checks the file before use. Hugging Face and its delivery infrastructure may process technical request information such as your IP address, requested file and request time under the Hugging Face privacy policy. No diary entries are included. After setup, ordinary conversations do not require an internet connection.
Local response flags
If you flag a response, the app saves your reason and optional note locally and hides the response. Nothing is sent to Wonderworld Labs. Flags remain until you remove them, erase diary data, or uninstall the app.
Exports, deletion and retention
You may export conversations through Android's document picker to a destination you choose. That destination may have its own storage or backup practices. Conversations and memories remain until deleted. Settings provides individual deletion and an erase function. Removing the downloaded model preserves conversations; uninstalling removes local app data.
No advertising or accounts
The app has no account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, cloud inference, subscriptions or purchases. It does not request microphone, camera, contact or location access. We do not sell diary information or share it with advertisers.
Visiting this policy page
The policy website uses the existing Wonderworld Labs website infrastructure. GitHub Pages may process technical requests under the GitHub privacy statement. This page contains no advertising or analytics scripts.
