About this app
Photo & File Vault is provided by Wonderworld Labs. This policy describes the current Android implementation: an offline vault that stores encrypted copies of files you select. It has no account, internet permission, advertising, analytics, or remote crash-reporting service. We do not receive your vault files or unlock secrets.
Files and permissions
The app uses Android’s document picker for files and destinations you choose. It accepts supported built-in local storage providers and does not support third-party cloud document providers. It does not request broad storage, camera, or microphone access. Importing copies a file into the vault; it does not delete or protect the original outside the vault.
Local encryption and visible information
File contents and filenames are encrypted in private app storage. Passwords, PINs, or patterns are used locally to unlock keys. Space labels and lock types remain visible; storage metadata such as encrypted file sizes and timing may also remain observable. There is no developer recovery key or password-reset service. Encryption does not protect against every risk, including a compromised device or access while a vault is unlocked. The current implementation has not been independently security-audited.
Exports and backups
Exporting creates an unencrypted copy at the local destination you select. Other apps may read or back up that copy. Original files outside the vault may already be synced or backed up by other services; the vault cannot remove those copies. App cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled. The current version has no encrypted backup or recovery feature.
Retention and deletion
Vault copies remain locally until you delete them or remove app storage. You can delete individual encrypted copies in the app. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes access to vault contents. Losing your secret, device, or stored data can permanently prevent recovery. File deletion does not guarantee physical erasure from flash storage. Manage original files and exported copies separately in their storage locations.
Sharing and children
The app does not transmit vault content to Wonderworld Labs, sell data, or share it with advertisers. It does not collect age information or send children’s file contents to us. Android, keyboards, stores, and other software on your device operate under their own privacy practices. Only store files you are entitled to keep.

For privacy questions, email contact@wonderworldlabs.com. If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to send and use them to respond. Do not send private files, unlock secrets, or recordings unless necessary for your request. We will update this policy when the app’s data practices change.

This policy website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information to serve and protect the website under its own privacy statement. We have not added analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts to this page. Website hosting is separate from local app processing.
