Explain Studio Privacy Policy
About this app
Explain Studio is provided by Wonderworld Labs. This policy describes the current Android implementation for importing production packs, recording with a teleprompter, and creating edited videos. Recording, editing, and English voice follow run on your device. The app has no account, internet permission, developer-operated server, advertising, or analytics service.
Camera and microphone
With your permission, the camera records video and the microphone records narration. A bundled on-device English speech-recognition model also processes microphone audio to advance the teleprompter. This processing does not upload audio or video to Wonderworld Labs or an external speech service. Recordings include your captured image and voice. You can revoke camera and microphone permission in Android settings; recording features then require permission to be granted again.
Projects and local storage
Imported production packs can contain scripts, images, videos, captions, and editing instructions. The app stores project assets, original takes, timing information, and edited output in private app storage. Original takes are preserved during editing. The speech model is bundled with the app. No remote AI service is called by the app to generate assets.
External AI tools and file providers
If you choose to create a production pack with an external AI assistant, information you give that assistant is handled under its policies. This is a separate action outside Explain Studio. Android’s file picker lets you import files and save videos or project ZIP backups to a destination you choose. That destination may be local storage or a cloud provider; the chosen provider handles any cloud transfer. Exported videos and backups can include your recordings, scripts, and assets, so choose recipients and destinations carefully.
Retention, backups, and deletion
Projects remain in private app storage until that storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Automatic app backup is disabled. Save a project backup or video copy before uninstalling or changing devices if you want to keep your work. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes the app’s local projects; it does not delete exported videos, ZIP backups, or source packs stored elsewhere. Delete those copies separately through the relevant storage provider. We have no server copy to recover or delete.
Sharing and people you record
The app does not send your projects or recordings to us, sell them, or share them with advertisers. You control any export or later sharing. Record other people only with appropriate permission, including permission needed when recording children. We do not receive children’s recordings through the app. Platform and store services may independently process installation or update information.

For privacy questions, email contact@wonderworldlabs.com. If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to send and use them to respond. Do not send private files, unlock secrets, or recordings unless necessary for your request. We will update this policy when the app’s data practices change.

This policy website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information to serve and protect the website under its own privacy statement. We have not added analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts to this page. Website hosting is separate from local app processing.
